So, I log onto myspace and go check out Mal’s profile. I notice that I am no longer in the top 8. Well, it was fun when I saw her, but that was the problem…she was never around. Anyways, I am free again.

Here is the inaugural post about Kres. I am sure that there will be many more in the future. If you do not already know, Kres is the Slovenian Ethnic Dance Group that I belong to. We had a workshop today inorder for us to become better dancers. I learned that when I polka, I look really good dancing the girl part, whereas I look ok dancing the guy part. Yay, I guess… Anyways, Marc handed out a Dancer Contract for us to sign. The contract was overall reasonable, in fact everything but one part was reasonable. The one part that I am refering to is the part saying that we can only miss four practices from January to June. I believe that it is fair, however the contract also states that you cannot miss more than one practice in a month. So, if you wanted to miss two practices in January, than you would make the rest of the practices, you cannot dance. I find this unreasonable, I am a big skier, I like to ski, I go skiing on some weekends. The weekends that I ski are normally spent at Holiday Valley. This is a 3.5 hour drive, and we ski until 4:45. Even if I didn’t include the time it takes to get dressed into normal clothes, and load up the food/skis, I wouldn’t be able to be at practice until 8:15. Practices end at 8:30. When I brought up this point, they suggested that I leave Holiday Valley earlier so that I could make the 6:00 practice. According to thier logic, I would have to leave Holiday Valley at 2:30. What is the point of spending the money to buy a ticket if I have to leave at 2:30? Last season, I attended 96% of the practices, and I am not allowed some time off to ski?

Saturday, I installed the Infinity Reference speakers, and my Sony Headunit. The Infinity Reference speakers are positioned in the front, with a directional tweeter. That simply means that I can aim the highs almost directly at my ears for a better sound. The headunit is absolutely amazing! It is motorized so that they could have a larger LCD screen. When you press eject, the faceplate is tilted downward so that you can enter the CD, then when you insert the CD, the faceplate returns to its position. Also, you can angle the faceplate, I guess that the feature comes in handy if you are driving a SUV where the seats are higher up, but optimal viewing for me is a slight slant. Speaking of viewing, wow. The LCD screen has a crystal clear screen with various animations in the background. I will post pictures once I have everything installed.
Still to install:
- 12″ Alpine Subwoofers (x2)
- Audiobahn Amplifier to drive the subs.

I purchased a new audio system for my car. Total cost is going to be a little bit more than $750USD.

Hello everyone, I have begun using a new web browser on my USB Drive. It is called Flock. It intergrates with Flickr and del.icio.us. Del.icio.us is an online communal favorite site. By adding sites to your favorites, you not only have them accessable from anywhere on the web, but you also can see where people who have added similar sites added visit.
Hopefully with this new powerful tool at my disposal, I will blog more often.
